About

I’ve been working in IT for 10+ years now. Along the way I’ve picked up lots of useful stuff. Made stupid mistakes, solved some interesting problems and more often than I’d like, wondered why something that should’ve taken five minutes took three hours.

I’ve had blogs and documentation sites in the past. They have however, always ended up neglected. Be it updates breaking the site or me trying to implement something, and breaking the site. Believe me, after spending all day fixing things the last thing you want to do when at home is fix something else.

So, I thought I’d try focusing on the content and consistency before going down the route of hosting something again.

I plan to write about lessons and things learnt in my career as a Sys Admin, sharing tidbits of information about Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Mobile Device Management etc.

There may be other things along the way too. I’m building a home lab so that may appear.

I’m aiming to publish a couple of times per week, but that’s not set in stone.

If that sounds interesting, consider checking back in!

P.S. I suppose I should explain the name, BassJamm. I’m a scardy cat and always write under the pen name…
